 Translate This Page | Angela K Robinson Poetry is one way to express our dreams. It can appeal to all ages and touch the heart allowing us to explore innermost feelings. The three books have been written from some of my own life experiences while growing up in the breath-taking untamed lands of Southern Africa. A place of ancient mysteries blessed with an abundance of gold, silver, chrome, iron ore and copper, and also rich in gemstones - emeralds, diamonds, different semi-precious stones of jade, malachite, amethyst... I often think about my carefree days spent in the sun. And even after so much change and ravages of war, it is still full of incredilbe beauty, promise and intrigue. It is my desire to share with you a glimpse of the timeless echoes of Africa. Falko These pieces have been collected over a time to bring you a sample bouquet of life's journey in poetry, as a woman maintaining a femininity and delicacy within a struggle. Here you will find a compilation focusing on relationships, distraction and the conflict of pain and dilemma; from seedling to its final pruning. Towards the end of each manuscript my mum and I worked very closely together. We discussed many of the existing poems and ideas to be explored through new writing – themes and feelings began to trickle in – they became the resonant cords that tie our Mother and Daughter adventure of words together.
